It's just a clock
This is the second X10 timer I have in about 2 months. 2 months ago my X10 timer simply stopped working - no amount of changing the plug ins, changing everything made any difference. It indicates that the timer is set and indicates that a given module is either on or off but it does not communicate with the module even once. So I ordered this one thinking the one I had had just failed after a few years. Same problem - no matter how I set it up, which module I use (I have about 5 of them, some of them never previously used) what else in the room I shut off - it does not communicate with the modules. Don't waste your money
This product is terrible. You can't hardly see the screen, and when you set it to turn on or off at certain times, it does not follow the schedule. It kept turning my lights off at least 30 minutes before the time scheduled. This is a very flawed product. I promptly returned the item and swapped it for the MT14A. So far, that one works as designed (I've only had it 2 weeks). It's a little more expensive, but at least it works!Vollständige Rezension lesen

XM-10 mini timer
I recently purchased the XM-10 mini timer to automate further the large number of lamp & appliance modules I have around my home for holiday decorations. Upon opening the box I found the instruction sheet to be vague in it's explanation of programming sequence for each event. After programming/deleting and re-programming events multiple times I picked up on what was needed to do as far as assuring a particular module was going to turn on and off at the appropriate time. It also seemed as if I had to program certain events repeatedly to get the mini timer's memory to keep that event's program in memory. Now the unit has been in use for two weeks or so and everything is working as designed. The reason I gave the unit 4-stars was due to the shortness of the tendered on or off signal sent through the house wiring upon a timed event; At times I have noticed a lamp or appliance module way down the line on a particular circuit not being turned on or off at a scheduled time when it is easily controlled with a standard key pad or even wireless remote if the assigned button is held for 1 second or so. To be fair, I have not yet installed the signal bridging device between the two legs of my electrical service that I purchased with my mini timer so this may be an isolation issue rather than an issue of event signal duration or strength from the mini timer.Vollständige Rezension lesen

This timer dos not wok as advertised.
This timer does not work as advertised. The clock works but the programed timers do not. It is advertised as new and unopened which is not true as the power cord was not wrapped as it would have been from the factory leading me to believe this timer has been used and returned for probably not working properly. I have had these x10 timers for 30 plus years and this one does not function properly other than the clock. Vollständige Rezension lesen

Had for many years a RadioShack x10 it finally went bad .replaced with the new x10 and it works real good easy
to program and it looks to be working good .
