It's just a clock
This is the second X10 timer I have in about 2 months. 2 months ago my X10 timer simply stopped working - no amount of changing the plug ins, changing everything made any difference. It indicates that the timer is set and indicates that a given module is either on or off but it does not communicate with the module even once. So I ordered this one thinking the one I had had just failed after a few years. Same problem - no matter how I set it up, which module I use (I have about 5 of them, some of them never previously used) what else in the room I shut off - it does not communicate with the modules. Followed everything suggested in their online trouble shooting - no use. It simply does not function.
