Blood Draw Difficult!

This kit is a convenient home test kit for monitoring blood sugar and it saves an expensive clinic visit. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, however, the pipette made blood collection difficult. In fact, I ruined the first test. Although I had ample blood from the finger poke, the pipette would not draw up enough blood so I didn't get a reading. I had to use the second test kit which went okay. Was 1 full point lower that actual lab testone day later.

I took the 2 tests night and morning after and both tests 6.5 and 6.4. Then same day later in the afternoon took actual lab test at hospital and it was 7.6 A1C. Was getting surgery for Achilles tendon reconstruction and since I am diabetic they want your A1C to be optimally 7.0 or below. But the doctor decided to operate anyway which I am glad, but don't think these home tests are 100 percent reliable as I was hoping. AC1 Great and accurate test,

great real close to the acutal doctors AC1 test. Maybe just 2 digits off. But thats close enough.
