For those of you who like stories based on history of facts, I believe you will enjoy this film from Roman Polanski....
Most of the actors are relatively unknown which to me, adds authenticity to the roles. This is what happened to a family during the siege of the Nazis...I will say little more in order not to ruin the film for those who have yet to see it !!! The title fits the theme of the movie accurately..

I love biopics The movie accurately describes life in the Warsaw ghetto. It also paints a vivid picture life of a Jew under the nazi regime.

powerful true Holocaust story

Tremendous acting, esp. main character. He had an exceptionally strong will to survive and survive he did! What those poor people went through was almost to awful to watch.

A marvelous depiction of life in defeated Post War Germany

Incredibly accurate view of Post War Germany. Great acting and great cinematography.
