great story abou life in late 19th centruy England

I loved the show Lark Rise to Candleford on PBS so wanted to read the autobiography on which it was based. It was fun to read in the book the connections to the show.

It fit the book to a "T"!

I loved the book; it was just hilarious! It was just so "English". There is just nothing like that "English" humor. It did remind me so much of "Three Men in a Boat", which is my all time favorite book.
