Sony Minolta AF 50mm f/2.0-8.0 AF Lens

An amazingly sharp lens

I also have the Zeiss 50/1.4 and this little gem gives it a good run for the money, albeit it is obviously much slower.

With Alpha 99-ii this lens has supplanted 24-80 zoom range, as the images are so sharp that cropping takes care of 'zooming'.
