Worth a punt for the price
It fitted perfectly in the holes at 90 degrees to each other vacated by the old battery. I found that it was tricky to split the fob neatly and is probably is no longer able to accept a further replacement battery. Having done all that, it now appears after confirming that the voltage is being applied correctly, that the fob circuit itself is defective.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Good battery. Needed a little work to fit to a BMW key but no problems.
I got this battery to fit in a BMW E46 Diamond key.
The legs on this battery don't quite line up for that but I was able to remove the positive side leg and reuse the original cage from the remote. Then it was just a matter of soldering in the new negative side leg and gluing on the original cage.
You can find these batteries with legs that line up exactly if you're willing to wait for a delivery from Hong Kong, but for the price and speed of delivery this was the best choice for me. Worked perfectly.

Good replacement battery for my BMW key fob
Battery fitted my BMW 3 series key fob (sealed type). Easy to de-solder old battery and fit new one. Battery was pre-charged, so it worked straight away. Hardest part was nothing to do with the battery, but splitting the key fob apart to get to the circuit board.

Easily replaceable unit

Direct replacement battery for mini one 57 reg fob key
Battery bought for mini reg 57 fob key . Replaced old battery with new battery
which was a direct fit after de-soldering old battery and soldering in new battery.
Measured voltage of new battery 2.95 volts Old battery 1.45 volts.You need
a soldering iron

Good fix for my 2005 Z4 keys.
Chose this battery because the tabs are in exactly the right place for the key of my Sept 2005 Z4, and it's a from a reputable manufacturer. The first one worked a treat, so I ordered another for the spare key and that worked just as well. Way cheaper than buying new keys from BMW!
You need to be fairly confident with soldering, and a de-soldering pump (solder sucker) definitely makes it easier.

ruined my car key
take my advice and buy a new key . trying to solder this battery in to place is no easy matter . only to find it dosent work when you have soldered it in place

Save hundread of euros and recycyle your old, non-functional BMW fob key
FOB battery died after 10 years of use. BMW dealer asked for more 300 euros for a new non-comfort access e90 fob key... This Panasonic battery came to the rescue, almost exactly same as the one in the fob casing, which has to be pried open, and then one has desolder the old battery , solder in the new one.
