If your washer level light comes on and you know you have fluid in the reservoir, then this is the part you'll need.

You CAN try to unstick the float, but I can guarantee that you will mess the old unit up trying to get it out.

Be prepared for the time commitment!

Not an easy item to remove! I disabled my old sensor 4 years ago when it failed and protected the plug with a baggie zip tie. Removing the sensor from the washer fluid tank was a challenge since you don’t want to damage the plastic tank. I attacked the dead sensor & o-ring with vise grips. The washer fluid made things more difficult as it had the consistency of soapy water. Before fitting the new sensor I plugged it in and hung it upside down and right side up to verify functionality. Installing the new sensor was easy, maybe 3 minutes of working it into place trying not to damage the tank or the new o-ring. Windshield warning light on, just replace the fluid sensor!

It was an easy and less expensive job than the dealership. First, I jacked up the car and removed a few screws, than it was easy to access. Next, I removed the old fluid sensor (which was a little challenging.) but installing the new fluid sensor took only a minute. Perfect fit for Infiniti G37 2011

Perfect fit for Infiniti G37 2011. The warning because of low washer fluid, even when the container was full, was anoying. I repaced this sensor in about 40 min and now it is working like a champ.
