Boots and Installs Reliably

More or less idiot proof

It seemed to be more or less idiot proof. I had my previous system disk fail with backup of the system. This product had me back up quickly and restoring my backed up data.

Windows 7 disc & key

Very good operating system

I recently moved from Oregon to Georgia and in the process I lost my Windows 7 Home Basic disc. I order this and it works really good. Its more streamlined.

Windows 7 Professional

We were a little worried since so many people were selling "Original Microsoft Software" and they were turning out to be copies and the customers were not able to authenticate the software. This is the original and was authenticated beautifully. It is working great on my laptop. The hard drive died and had to be replaced and was unable to do a restore for that had also gotten destroyed. easy install, just needed updates, which were free anyway.

May not connect to internet if installed through a virtual machine.

Have installed this Windows 7 through Virtual Box (on MacBook Pro) and so far have been unsuccessful connecting to internet. Have tried many avenues and all are a 'no go' to date. Rescued a frustrated Windows 10 user

After my girlfriends Windows laptop was unexpectedly "upgraded" to Windows 10, she had nothing but frustration and problems with the unfamiliar UI. I was able to run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor, and HwInfo, on her laptop to identify needed drivers. Most were available from HP as they were identical to the Windows 8.1 drivers.
