Rescued a frustrated Windows 10 user
After my girlfriends Windows laptop was unexpectedly "upgraded" to Windows 10, she had nothing but frustration and problems with the unfamiliar UI. I was able to run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor, and HwInfo, on her laptop to identify needed drivers. Most were available from HP as they were identical to the Windows 8.1 drivers. Others were available from the Windows Update Catalog site. Ultimately the rollback to Windows 7 was not difficult and the outcome was great!.
