Worked As Promised, Genuine, Laptop Usable Again, & ALL DATA SAVED!!!
Thank you so much! My Vista terminally crashed HARD unlike I've ever seen it do before & there was no solution to fix it. I tried eveything. I was able to choose the option to install 7 on top of the prexisting Vista psrtitipn & ALL of my data was saved & located in various preserved folders throughout the hard drive. I was able to register it via my home WiFi, I did not have to call as others stated. Guess it depends on the computer & situation. I started reinstalling some programs & it's working on installing 182 Windows updates. All the old programs are still in the saved old Program Files folder. All that I tried still work out of that location, but it's better to reinstall them. I might choose to copy all the data off the drive & do a completely clean install & wipe the partition clean but that's a lot of work. At least I can now get past the broken Vista infinite Welcome screen glitch & retrieve all of my data. Easy to install and Setup
I recently purchased Windows 7 Pro Professional SP1 X64 Bit DVD and Product Key it was very easy to install. All i had to do was put the DVD in the DVD player and the DVD spun up and started installing. Some bumps getting registration done, but all worked out in the end.
The Product Key was not initially accepted and required contacting support and jumping through some hoops to get registration straightened out. Quite annoying.

Nice and Easy Install
I was given a Dell computer and I want to fix it up to use out in my garage / workshop. I replaced the mother board with an Intel board with updated features (USB 3.0 for one) and kept the i5 processor. Loaded up with 16G RAM and installed a 1T hard drive. The Windows 7 Pro X64 was the ticket. Install was smooth and easy. I registered by telephone which was surprisingly easy. My expectations were met. UEFI mode - enabled
This is the version that supports UEFI mode -- I had Ultimate before this and it would not support that mode. UEFI boot demands a bit of care setting up - Win 10 does support natively - but I don't really like 10 and this version fits my needs very well. Windows 7 Still suits the task need it
I'm so happy that this product is still available, because old computers is lighter than windows 10, i will stick to it a while.
For up to 4GB RAM windows 7 , for 8GB or more Windows 10, that how i did it in my office and is working great.

Great Operating System!
I have a Dell Latitude D630 that has never failed. I recently upgraded the OS from Windows XP to Windows 7 32 bit. Could not be happier with this version of Windows 7. Extremely intuitive and I didn't have to look for any third party drivers. Windows 7 had them all.

Worth the money...and saves a lot of time!
The past few months I've been upgrading my business PC's and laptops to 64 bit technology and Solid-state hard drives. Each machine needed a clean install of Windows 7 to accommodate the Solid state drives' 4K architecture. The first install I used my "old" Windows 7 disk, purchased in 2010. The install went well, but the updates took forever, going on for several days every time I booted the machine, even with the fast internet we have.
So for less than $40, I bought one of these perfectly legal Windows 7 disks (with service pack 1), installed it and updates were over in about one day. Activation was simple over the phone and it has worked flawlessly since.
Be forewarned that the activation code is only good for one machine- if used on another PC or laptop it will crash and invalidate both machines! The is stated very clearly in the documentation, so be careful.
For the time alone this has saved me, it has been a great purchase. So far, I have upgraded two of my machines (purchased two of these disks) and have one more to upgrade. Well worth the $40!Vollständige Rezension lesen
