Upfront I do think this is an upgrade worth buying if you already own the Sundara’s. If you have great source material this headphone will give you details, good tonality and good separation of instruments. To tweak them to get the best sound I would suggest upgrading the cable with a quality cable. In my system this headphone also benefited with about 200 hours of burn in before it got rid of the gritty sharpness in the highs. These are even more comfortable than the Sundara’s. These bring out slightly and worth it more details than the Sundara. I upgraded the cable to a Audio Ninja XLR cable and it was a good improvement over stock. I own Moon Audio Silver Dragon cables for Focal Elegia headphones. This cable also worked with the Arya. The Silver Dragon cables took the sound to a new level adding more “meat on the bone” to the sound. It’s an expensive tweak. Vollständige Rezension lesen

They're worth the money, so much fun.

Amazing sound, better than others in the price range. With an amp they're better, but it's not really critical since they're so efficient. Any gaming sound card like the AE-5, G6, or better has plenty of power for them. They're expensive, but it's an end game headphone you don't have to upgrade. After this the rate of diminishing returns goes off a cliff (5-10 percent better for double the cost). With a JDS Atom amp and Khadas tone board it just fit so perfect.

Great headphones. Arrived in Mint condition as advertised.

I already had a pair of the Anandas but needed another for a different system. The best headphone I've heard at any price. The one ordered here was listed as Mint and it definitely is. It's best to upgrade the cable though, as the original chokes much of the sound. Also, they've changed the newer models to the stealth magnet design. I don't care for it, which is why I ordered this older one. The Neofantasia cable, silver coated, it also the best I've heard and let's the Ananda really shine.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Just ok

Just ok, my Sony headphones sound better, are lighter, and more comfortable. Not as full range as my Sony. Also theses head phones are bulky and heavy. Sound is just ok I was phoning for more,

For the price these are excellent. Just get you a good balanced cable and good DAC.

Magnepans for the Ears
