I have seen this movie when I was in the 6th grade. My teacher recommended it the class. It was a very good movie. Now I have this movie in my collection and still enjoyed after 40 years

History at it's best

I first saw this as a miniseries and enjoyed it. I then read the book and found the series was very close so I keep it in my library. I have now purchased the DVD, for my Grand Children and Great Grands, and to enjoy as television sinks lower and lower with quality programs.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Gently used DVD set with original booklet, good value

Good price for a good quality used DVD. Complete, no problems. I watched Backstairs at the White House with my mom as a kid back when it aired and something made me think of it recently. It's not streaming anywhere so this was a good find. Vollständige Rezension lesen

Great movie and great value for the money

This is a great movie. This was also a great deal for the money considering I wanted the set of all 4 dvds and that is what I got.

Very good from a historical perspective.

Very interesting portrayal of several prrsedents. Casting was a bit uneven--some looked like the presidents they represented others did not. But overall, a goodo job.

A good story and cast. Very similar to the Help with different theme.

I saw this years ago in a television mini series. I was not able to see all of the episodes when originally broadcast.
