If you like details, and reading it is your book.
I loved the book. I am a reader and all of the details were very informative for me. Not as many pictures as I hoped for and I had forgotten how long ago it was.... Jewelry was not nearly as beautifully done as it was later.
I got the book at a GREAT price, so for me it is a treasure. I love all things "old Russian" and espacially Catherine the Great. I would love to go to St Petersburg and Moscow. At my advanced age, not going to happen, so I shall continue to travel by book.

Losing elegance by leaving off the little things.
Lovely , appears brand new. Delighted to have it in my home. Hopeing to restore
some of the lost elegance of former times into this too fast world.

Should be in every household.
A wonderful daily uplift from the Lord. Very short and almost without fail hits where you are or will be before the day is over. Every home I know should have one by the bedside. and for a family at the table. It is wonderful.
