Replacing GPS Battery

The battery seems to be working perfectly in my GPS. My only issue was that my existing batery was soldered in place where as the one I received was meant to be plugged in. I had to remove the plug and solder the new battery in place of the old one. I would not recommend it to some one without the ability to do the above soldering task since they would be unable to attach the new battery to the GPS.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Resurrected a dead Magellan with battery replacement.

Received Li-Ion battery for my Magellan Roadmate GPS on time. Had to solder three wires from battery to the GPS electronic board, not a problem since I had soldering experience. Exactly what you need to revive an old Magellan

Clearly a good new battery, size is exact replacement. Some Magellan units use this battery with plug-in connection, others solder it directly to the motherboard, it comes with the connector.
