Great Reel!
GREAT REEL! All the bearings are ball bearings everywhere they are needed. Great size for me. Very smooth & lightweight. Perfect on a 5'6" rod or a 6.0' rod either one. I use it for pan fish & catfish. Anyone wanting a great reel for big catfish I'd use the 33 Max Platinum but I like the smaller size of this reel. Chinese junk
It’s definitely not very smooth reeling and about every ten cast the line hangs up inside. I understand it’s not a real expensive reel but for only using it for two afternoons on a lake, I expected a little better quality. I would not recommend this reel for anyone, not even a kid.

Nice reel for anyone. Young or old. And has all metal gears! Should pull in most fresh water fish !
