ZEISS Loxia 50mm F/2.0 Lens for Sony E-Mount

I have had the pleasure of owning many Zeiss lenses over the years, and they all are built like fine jewels and solid as a tank and this Loxia is no exception. Focus action is buttery smooth and easy to attain with the Sony A7's focus peaking which is automatically invoked as soon as you move the focus ring however imperceptibly. Great lens all-around.

This lens is extremely sharp, even wide open. It delivers excellent contrast and color fidelity. Manual focusing is super-smooth, and in the EVF of my Sony A7RII it is easy to see the image come into focus. small but packs a punch

beautiful render, but not for everyone. If you want small and like the tactile feel of manual focus lenses, highly recommend the loxia line

This lens is the perfect blend of sharpness and character. Some lenses are tack sharp but feel very clinical. This is not one of those lenses. It renders beautiful, life-like images.
