Great technology without chips!
Zeiss brand epitomises quality and these binoculars meet expectations. Light weight for 10x42, with excellent clarity, detail, colour rendition and brightness. Slightest of chromatic aberration dark against very bright background but very wide sweet spot and depth of field. Comfortable to hold, the rubber armour is very well designed providing a real sense of durability and confidence.
Pupil width hinge, diopter ring and eye relief cups operate positively and will not accidentally slip out of position. Strangely, the diopter rubber ring is crude in form albeit does function well.
The case seems well made and of a zipped clamshell design. It has belt straps on the back, but the case might be too cumbersome to be carried at waist level - good for storage though!. I could fit the whole strap inside tucked to one side of the binoculars - perhaps because my pupil width is just under 60mm and this provided the necessary space.
I think these binoculars are excellent quality from a thoroughly respected manufacturer and worth the price paid. There might be better buys elsewhere - but I have Zeiss!!Vollständige Rezension lesen

What's not to like?
Excellent quality given its relatively low price. You would be hard pushed to be able to distinguish image quality when directly compared with much higher priced binoculars costing three times as much. Yes, if you drop the binoculars on a hard surface the plastic strap holder bracket could break but the robust build of the optics will likely survive the trauma unscathed with ease. Zeiss = Quality
Was happy with my £100 binoculars till I tried these. Colour and sharpness worth the price and look as if they are very robust.

Excellent Quality At The Price *****
a little apprehensive ordering these as Chinese versions of a German quality product, but I have blown away with the quality. Clear lenses with a wide field of view.
