Fantastic for CW and QRP

This unit has good ears and the form factor is fantastic for portable use. I purchased an upgraded battery for longer use time. With a mobile antenna SSB voice doesn’t perform that well at 6 watts - you will need a dipole or resonant antenna. With a mobile antenna I received 3-3 signals and I was in the noise a lot. YASUE FT.818 A GREAT RADIO

Because it looks good quality, Received it in a reasonable time. Haven't had to to really operate it yet.
I'm charging the battery right now .Will
be programming it tomorrow, I have do doubt that it will operate just fine.
Looking forward to doing POTA with it.
I'm glad I this Yasue FT 818 ,Yasue is a great company with a good reputation for build some of the best ham radios
