Good value for money
For us, the fence does now do it's job as a dog containment device, but it took a lot of getting right mainly because of unclear sales literature.
It is advertised for horse paddock fencing, but does say it is also suitable for dogs and other animals in the literature. It would probably be much easier to set up for horses on wet a grassy paddock, but if you are trying to set it up on hard, dry, ground, it will be a far more difficult job because of earthing problems.
The unit is supplied with everything you need with the exception of an adequate earthing stake. The box contained a less than half metre stake and yet the instructions say the fence needs (and certainly does need to work well on dry ground) '3 x 1 metre stakes to be hammered fully into the ground'.

Good energiser, really easy to setup
Great little energiser and comes with all the bits needed to get up and running straightaway.
Nice compact size and has a solid feel to the build quality. We've been using this for about 3 months now and so far it has worked a treat and certainly survived the recent downpours!

Really happy with product.
Bought this for my ponys field after she kept escaping her electric fencing. It was SO easy to set up and I've been using it for around three weeks now. Dog fence
I bought this to deter 2 very persistent German pointers from escaping from my garden. It was well packed and of sturdy construction.installation was very straight forward,though I did wonder if the "earth" rod was a little bit short as the instruction said it should be minimum 1 metre whereas the one supplied was only approx 25cm.instructions weren't the clearest though adequate with a bit of thought.I used approx 200m of fence wire at 3 different levels.i used a fully charged 100ah battery and are a week on from installation and it is showing plenty of charge.I have only seen the dogs get one shock and since then they haven't been anywhere near it!.Job done.Very happy.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Good buy
This was a replacement for an old style unit with back up 6v batteries. Very easy to set up and packs enough punch to keep my two 16'2" greedy guts from the growing grass.

Handy to assemble and connect. Quality leads and clips uses minimum power from battery but gives a good pulse. Pulse LED gives visual connection. Just installed so history will show.

Brilliant value for money.
Hardly little energiser. Would like to be able to turn off without disconnecting the battery but that’s my only tiny criticism.
