Excellent lead cutting tool

I was recommended this tool by another stained glass artist for cutting lead came and now I have used one I won't go back to using a traditional lead knife. This tool cuts through the lead easily and without damaging the lead. I find it easy to use despite having arthritic hands and a limited grip. very good, perfect for angle and straight cuts of plastic trim and takes standard trim knife replacement blades, good purchase.

Not happy

Because after 1 day working with them the blade holder would not hold the blade square to the base , so I found it hard to cut through the window trim , I had to turn it around to cut both sides just to get through the material, sometimes resulting in having a gagged edge , not the result I was looking for especially after one days use , I changed the blade but had the same results, pretty poor Vollständige Rezension lesen

Excellent tool

I bought these as I saw on a stained glass site that they were great for cutting lead. They have been brilliant, no more crushed ends and wrestling with a lead cutter.
