I Didn't Fall For The Hype....
... When the comic book series that this book compilation is from came out in 2001.
I also didn't spend the money to buy the book compilation.
However, when I saw this book in the local library, I felt it was time I gave serious consideration to read this 'true origin' of Wolverine.
Having read it... I'm glad I didn't jump right out and buy this series.
The storyline is one that just didn't jump out and grab me...
Actually the artwork by Andy Kubert and the digital painting by Richard Isanove is what kept me reading on to finish the book. The artwork is a good complement to the storyline.
The book compilation is the only way IMHO to read this series. I would have hated to wait for the individual issues to come out back in 2001 to finish reading the story.
Matter of fact I probably wouldn't have finished reading the series, as the individual issues just don't stand alone in my estimation.
If you are a Wolverine / X-Men fan, and you gotta read this 'origin' story, then read it in this format... but check it out at a library and save your money.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
