A slow burning love. Enjoyable viewing.

I enjoy drama's of this era with the protocol's that people lived by and of course the love stories intertwined. The acting is superb the story line very interesting with it's ups and downs for the main characters and when all seemed lost the surprise face to face, unexpected, before the final scenes. Wives & Daughters is a superb novel by Elizabeth Gaskell. When I watched it the televised version the first time I felt inspired to buy the book which I did and read it. We've just enjoyed watching it for a second time. Fully recommend it.Vollständige Rezension lesen
