Great secateurs, pity close lock keeps breaking.
My husband will not use anything else, but the plastic clip that holds it shut at the bottom keeps losing its metal spring, so it cannot be closed before storage, and the clip gets in the way when pruning, since it is just dangling free! We tape the plastic clip down, which means these secateurs cannot be closed for storage.

Comfortable and Lightweight To Use
I have an Allottment and needed a decent budget & reliable pruner for general use so came across the Wilkinson Sword 1111141W Bypass Pruners. Nice looking design and light. I have big hands and they feel comfortable to hold. They give a nice sharp cut.
A good general purpose pair of pruners to use around the garden. They come with a 10 Year Guarantee from Wilkinson Sword so as long as i keep it well cleaned and well oiled they should last me a long time.

Only the best will do
Well made, comfortable to hold and use, sharp blade makes the secateurs easy to use. Hopefully the will last as long as our last pair of Wilkinson Secateurs which we had for well over 20 years.

Battered Pruners!
These pruners feel nice in the hand, albeit a little heavy. They arrived in very poor state, scratches all over handles and looking quite battered and been around a long time. Robust Quality product
Robust quality. Think it will last for years. Does the job. Nearly gave it only a four star rating as it would be perhaps a little heavy for some but not for me. Very pleased.

Very worthwhile purchase.
Well made and well priced. Not too heavy. Nice and sharp with comfortable grip, especially for a smaller hand.
The real test will be in the long term durability; first impressions are good.
