285938 Whirlpool Washer Timer
This was a new-in-box timer that saved me a bundle of money compared to what a local dealer wanted.
It's been on the machine for 6 months now and never missed a lick. The only problems I encountered were the timer is mounted to the panel on the knob shaft with a nut hidden under a removable plastic plug snapped in the middle of the knob...unlike the YouTube videos that say it mounts differently. It fits great, no modifications necessary. You may have to recalibrate the knob marking so the "off" mark on the knob corresponds with the index mark on the panel with a waterproof marker if the slight offset (if present) bothers you. Good product assembled in the USA
A good investment to keep old machine running again. This is my second Timer unit for my 26 yrs old washer. The $100 is reasonable vs, buying new machine for $400 .
