Highly recommended release for any Faith No More and Faith. No Man fans.
Essential Early Faith No More. I recommend this album, it's stronger than 'Introduce Yourself' in my humble opinion. This was somewhat of a crossover for the band, a change of lineup but if you research, many of the members from earlier bands and related projects (Chuck Mosely played piano in one). It also has the most post punk influence. During this same time, Mike Patton, Trevor Dunn, Danny Heifetz and Trey were doing some great and loud and offensive early Mr. Bungle as well. I recommend researching the band history. The remaster that was done here makes it sound absolutely full, far better than than the original disc & cassette release, but not overblown. The bonus tracks are merely a plus for collectors but they are definitely worth while for FNM officianados!
