A great Criterion Blu-ray for a Classic British animated film
Watership Down from the Criterion Collection is a great buy for animation fans. The movie itself is a dark and brutal story about the survival of rabbit trying to start a new warren. The picture quality is very good with a good range of colors, nice line work and lack of dirt and debris. It's got fascinating bonus features about the making of the film, the animators and the influence of the film. It's also cool to be able to watch the film with storyboards.
