Easy to use great features
Saves me using ladders at various angles when lopping the trees, very easy to use and light weight - highly recommend this attachment.

Heavy but does the job
I Use this on a 4 metre pole. Quite heavy but can reach the heights of overgrown apple trees I have. There is non adjustable one which may be lighter to use but needed to lop many water shoots on my trees. Good quality but generally expensive kit. However saying this it will last my lifetime! Wolf Garten lopper
This lopper was bought to solve the problem of reaching higher branches. Thicknesses up to 25mm are cut easily. Thicker branches are tough going. Even though the gearing of the rope pulleys helps increase pull effort, branches at the stated max of 40mm defeated me. The lopper is quite heavy but you soon get the knack of resting it on the top of the branch to be cut so that the branch takes the weight. However, once cut through the branch it is hard to stop the lopper and extended pole crashing to the ground. Obviously this is harder to control the longer the extension handle being used. Good piece of kit.
We bought for £40 which is well below some vendors prices.It is well made and strong, if a little expensive compared to similar mechanisms,( not designed necessarily to fit on the end of poles).
Obviously some woods are harder to cut than others, so their branch thickness claims that it can cut might be considered a little over enthusiastic. It gets heavy to hold after a while. The sliding handle which can be locked to provide the optimum pull for the operator gets stuck on the cable although grips well, making it slightly awkward when changing position. may seem expensive but you get what you pay for a quality versatile lopper

Powerful branch lopper
This lopper is made to the usual very high standards of Wolf tools. I should last a lifetime. The pulley mechanism means that half inch thick branches can be trimmed.
On the downside, it is heavy, and on the end of a long pole it will be quite tiring to use.

Strong, sturdy tree loppers
Very well made as is typical of wolf tools. Easy to use but a bit on the heavy side, the angle of cut can be adjusted which makes it easier

I have some Wolf products they are good quality but not cheap. This with a long reach pole is great at trimming tall branches.

Much better than any other tree lopper.
Typical Wolf-Garten quality. Really easy to use and feels like it's built to last. We've been cutting branches 10' up in the air with ease with this.
