The Right Tool for The Job
Japanese Industrial Standard screw drive bits are exceedingly difficult to obtain/ purchase from a UK supplier. High quality and perfect for use on Japanese vehicles.
Most folks don't realize that the Philips head screws on Japanese cars and motorcycles usually aren't. They're usually JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard). Using Philips bits on JIS screws often chews up the heads, A JIS screw can often be identified by the punch mark (see picture) between two of the flutes on the head. Also, the flutes have parallel edges, rather than the tapered edges of Philips head screws.
These Vessel JIS bits are very high quality. They fit the screw heads snugly and won't cam out. Listed as 8 mm bits, they actually measure 7.87 mm, or exactly 5/16" - the perfect size to fit hand operated impact tools such as the one shown in the pictures.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

JIS Impact Drivers
These JIS drivers are forged and machined steel (NOT chinesium). While they look like standard Phillips drivers, JIS cross drivers are slightly different in the taper angle and the shape of the of the ramps. Pricey but absolutely required for Japanese motorcycles, engines, cars and heavy equipment when loosening and tightening to torque specs for cross-head screws WITHOUT destroying the screwheads. TYPICAL JAPANSE QUALITY
Like most Japanese machined items the metal, workmanship and finish coating appear to be of the highest quality. If you factor in free shipping from Japan it's a good or reasonable deal on an item that is not available locally or even in North America from what I could see. I bought this to replace the poor quality bits that came with an impact driver that came with a impact socket set and am pleased with them. Got an old Japanese Motorcycle, you need these.
Work great on JIS screws found on Japanese motorcycles especially from the 60-70-80s. Would like to see some where they are mounted in 3/8" drive sockets.

You may not realize. But Japanese auto, cycle and appliance parts are not assembled with Phillips head screws. The instead use a superior, Japanese standard cross head design.

Top quality impact bits

vessel impact bits
vessel is the top of the line for JIS tools, if working on any atv, dirt/ street bike made in japan you should use this brand. Great bits no s.
Works great so far. Removed a handful of seperator plate screws easily with these bits. Fit great in my harbor freight impact handle thing. Feels like a better metal than what came with that tool.

Good quality for the price
I thought that they were going to be the size that would fit in the end of a 1/4” bit driver. But instead they were larger, like for an impact driver( hit with hammer type).
