Ideal Oil for Oldies
I have used Valvoline VR-1 for some years now, as it is ideal for my Ford Cologne V6 engine, as it contains a higher level of zddp additives (zinc & phosphorus) for enhanced protection for the valve train and bearings.
I have found that newer synthetic type oils are too thin for my engine type, and result in much lower oil pressure.
I strongly recommend VR-1 Racing 20w 50 mineral oil.

A superb oil for classics.
A superb engine oil,the viscosity doesn't break down even in the very hot weather, I have used valvoline in our classic cars since 1986 and would highly recommend.

The only oil for 3.5 Rover V8

Good oil for classic air cooled Japanese motorbikes which tend to run quite hot
I use this oil in Honda CBX 1000 6 cylinder motorbikes and it seems to work well. These engines can get very hot in warm weather and when caught in slow moving traffic.. It’s getting hard to find good quality mineral oil now so I was pleased to find this one. Vollständige Rezension lesen

Quality oil
I have used this oil several times now, it’s a very good quality oil for my classic car. High zinc content for protection in the engine. Not the cheapest but definitely the best, worth the price.

CLEAN FOR A GREEN MACHINE
USING VALOLINE V 1 OIL IN MY 5.7ltr V8 ENGINE MEANS THAT WHEN CHANGED AFTER 2000 MILES IT ALMOST COMES OUT AS GOOD AS IT GOES IN. WHICH OF COURSE KEEPS THE ENGINE LIKE NEW .

Great product and grade for modern classic with an ali engine. Provides my car with very good oil pressure and cleanliness. Used it for 10 years now. Will not use anything else!
