vtech 2 line phone
Ordered one base and 2 handsets. Easy to set up, sound quality good, but not great and the handset is comfortable. One cradle came in defective and Vtech was good in replacing the whole set even though I only needed the cradle. I originally called the actual shipper 3 times before he called back. Then he shipped me the cradle reasonably quickly. One design flaw is that the red charging light stays lit all the time and doesn't turn to green to let you know that the handset is fully charged. This is particularly irksome if the handset has run down the battery and you don't know whether you can have a complete conversation before the handset shuts down.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Positives and negatives: Vtech DS6151 + DS6101 2-line phone
Overall, I like the Vtech DS6151 and the extra handset DS6101 and believe my choice to purchase it was the best decision given those available.
I also purchased an extra base station and 4 additional handsets so some of my comments reference that experience.
That being said, here are my observations.
The good:
* Setup was easy: plug in; attach phone line(s) and you are set.
* Clarity of sound for calls is very good.
* Signal coverage is good, even for one base station to its registered handsets.
The not-so-good:
* Lacks individualized ring tones for those in your directory.
* Lacks the ability to announce the name and number of the caller.
* Lacks the ability to rename the handsets (or the 'base' station).
* Extra base station does not interfere, but at the same time, does not work in conjunction with another base station.
* An extra base station expands handset coverage only for those handsets registered with that specific base station (no hand-off to the closest base station).
* Because of this you cannot use the intercom to call handsets that are registered to a different base station.
* Would be nice to have the option to turn on the LCD screen light on the base station all the time, not just when pressing buttons.
I can't speak to the functions of the answering machine as I don't use that feature.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Very functional telephone system
Great package, it set up easily, good range on the portable phones and the audio quality is very good. It has many useful functions including an illuminated screen on the base station which makes it easy to identify a caller. I'm very happy with this product.Vollständige Rezension lesen

nearly Perfect
Nearly perfect - the only issue is thet they do not provide you with information regarding the socket type which was only 100v.. which does not match with Malta and UK. I had to spend another euro50- in sockets to make it work.
I believe that by replacing these sockets with 100-240v this would make a perfect sell.

JBELECTRONICS IS GREAT TO WORK WITH. THEY KNOW THE VTECH PRODUCT VERY WELL.
I HAD SOME QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS PRODUCT BEFORE I PURCHASED IT. JBELECTRONICS WAS THE ONLY FIRM TO RESPOND TO ME WITH ANSWERS. AS FOR THE PRODUCT, ITSELF, WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. WE INSTALLED THIS SYSTEM IN AN ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY. WE INSTALLED THE BASE STATION IN THE TELEPHONE ROOM WHICH WAS SORT OF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE COMPLEX. AND WE INSTALLED THIS BASE STATION HIGH UP ON THE WALL. THE CUSTOMER ONLY USES THE 3 SEPARATE HANDSETS FOR THEIR PHONE SYSTEM. Lots of features, low price.
Can't really beat all the features included, the range, or clear sound, for anywhere near the same price.
You have to get use to the menus and buttons a little, but was easy to set up and most defaults didn't need to be changed. Had just about every feature one would want on a two line phone, plus the ability to add lots of additional handsets.
Main complaint is the handset LED indicator doesn't blink when there is a message waiting, making you have to pick it up and activate the screen to check. At least the Base Station flashes, but that doesn't help when you have handsets everywhere else.
One other minor feature missing was that there is no option to select whether to auto answer when you pick up the handset. Other than that, you just can't beat this product for anywhere near the same cost.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Very nice to have extra handsets
These seem very clear, and I got an extra handset for the price. It was my own fault to not notice this model did not offer the Bluetooth feature. Good price either way. Review of Vtech Phone System
We love the Vtech phone system. The setup was easy, the quality excellent, the comfort of the handset is great, and it looks good. My first read through the manual was a little overwhelming, but I quickly found out the settings were in easy to find menus that made personal choices really easy. Has a few quirks
These are good phones. The sound quality is good and it was easy to set up. The things I don't like about it are that you cannot rename each handset and when you get another call coming in, call waiting does not tell you who it is. Also, the phone clips are a little flimsy.
