A cheap and cheerful copy of original but works . The software that comes with it is shareware and needs to be paid for before it works properly and is very out of date

Does the job

Works fine for older Audi’s, used with ross tech lite, could find faults and reset a few eg air bag light. Needs a non slotted cd drive to read the driver though

Does the job nicely

If you want to check basic fault codes then this will do the job nicely, however potential buyers must be aware this only works with certain models of vehicles, you also need to configure your computers ports to enable the software to recognize the lead. Worked for me

Delivered quickly. Downloaded and installed the VDCS-Lite shareware from the RossTech website and plugged the cable in to my laptop. Once set up, plugged into my car and it worked first time. With the shareware version you only get limited functionality, but for a hobbyist with access to what the codes mean this is perfect.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Worked on my Mk4 Golf TDI

I use the item to scan for codes on my VW golf mk4, this version on vag-com only has the basic functions. Also tryed it on mk5 golf and it did connect but was asking me to upgrade to the payed version to read codes ..

Nice idea but can't get it to work

Could not seem to get it to communicate with my car via a PC or Apple. It may not be the product but I can diagnose the problem.

Used the ross drivers and a copy of vcds lite I found on the web works perfect on windows 10 32bit

doesn't connect with vcd even light version hit and miss with coding

just buy the proper cable Ross tech no faults and upgradeable
