Best alternative to aftermarket stereo

If you want to maintain the stock look in the interior of your VW, this is the best solution you can get.
For the price of a cheap aftermarket stereo, you can have this discrete adapter that you can put on your glove compartment with a pen drive that will not stick out in the center console as if you had a regular stereo.

Cons:
