Works great

There are several websites and YouTube videos showing the replacement process. It is not like dropping in a new AA battery however. You have to partially dismantle the toothbrush and soldering skills on a tiny circuit board are required. Review the procedure before you buy. Pefect Fit. Easy Install if You Can Solder

This replacement works perfectly. I'm now getting two weeks use out of each charge (brushing once a day). This is the second time I've replaced the battery. The last time was five years ago so the battery lasts quite a long time.

The YouTube video and how-to web page are totally clear. Pay attention to the warning that you need some basic soldering skills and tools. Using a solder vacuum tube worked well for me but the wicking braid would probably do the job as well.

It's much cheaper and better for the environment to get more life out of your Braun by replacing the battery in this way. Next time, I'll order the larger size for even more time between charges (see the how-to web page for an explanation).Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Installed properly

Doesn’t hold its charge that long. Wanted this to hold its charge as old battery lasted 2-4 days after normal charging/ Usage. This install has not changed anything. If you know your way around a soldering iron you can extend the life of your electric toothbrush with this. There's a myriad of how-to's on the web on how to replace the battery.

fit prefect, length wise. High capacity battery, one day charge last for a week. Good support in replacement issue.

Braun toothbrush battery 42mm x 14mm

Fitted this battery hoping to put new life into my toothbrush, sadly after charging for many many hours it goes flat after only using it once.

Needed a little soldering

No problems fitting and connecting battery but some fiddling needed. Brush works perfectly n ow.

Toothbrush runs as new. Have only had for a month so can't comment on durability.

This battery holds only about 50% of the original factory supplied unit. I should have paid the extra and purchased a well branded product

With the superbly detailed Ionic instructions for replacing the battery the task is simple and results in what is effectively a new toothbrush for very little cost. Highly recommended.
