Tomb Raider, Reboot Review
While the game and story are great. Lara new design is amazing and her character is filled with emotion. However gameplay is very simple and stealth leaves some to be desired.

LOTS of explicit gore – and a surprisingly whiny Lara Croft
To be candid, I was disappointed with this game. Sure the graphic "quality" is good (technically), and the platforming experience is what I expected, but there were two things that stood out for me that made me less than enthusiastic about this game:
1) I'm not a prude (my favorite game is Skyrim), but the gore in this game was over-the-top for me. Having Lara Croft drop into a room filled with bloody body parts, with skinned victims also hanging from the rafters, was unnecessarily gory. Later, Croft takes a tumble and, if handled improperly, she gets a long pipe shoved up and through the bottom of her mouth. Too gruesome for me. No thanks.
2) I know in this game she is supposed to be a younger, less experienced, Lara Croft, but right from the start she sounds totally whiny. She whimpers at every bug bite. It got irritating. Not very much like the Lara Croft of other Tomb Raider games I have played, nor like the supremely-confident movie version.

Tomb Raider Definitive Edition

Engaging game
It's super fun, there's a ton of missions to keep you entertained for a long time, the story is compelling and gameplay is amazing. It's quite different from previous Lara Croft games in terms of the story. Lara is not the confident pro we've come to know and expect. Here she takes her tentative first steps, but she is driven and as she complete missions, she becomes the force we know. Great title. Vollständige Rezension lesen

Tomb Raider has always been one of my favorite game series. Great story and graphics. So glad i found this game here 😊

Lara Croft is awesome and so is this game!
Fantastic open world game!
On the scary side, not for kids at all, lots of gore.
Great action!
Plenty to explore and find hidden stuff.
Interesting story-line.
I will compare it to Uncharted which I played through all of 1-4 prior to this.
Uncharted (Nathan Drake and crew) is also fantastic!
The biggest difference between the two is more gore in this overall, more graphic violence, more open world.
Uncharted in general is more like an interactive feature film.
This is more like virtual reality as far as it is a large expansive open world where you can do pretty much anything more like GTA V.
Must have games all of them!

Good game!!
This is my favorite Tomb Raider game in the series and is a pretty darn good game period. It is a shame that the sequel is only coming out for the X-Box one.
