Best Thor Film

This may well be the best THOR film of the 3. Chris Hemsworth brings it all to this single character adventure and
he is funny! There's an enormous amount of humor in this one thanks to actor/director Taika Waititi who also has a role as Korg. Waititi has revitalized the Thor franchise by letting Hemsworth's comedy chops shine. Thor: Love and Thunder's coming next. Waititi's helming that and it should be hilarious.

Nice tongue in cheek romp

Chris seems to have grown into the role with this film. His portrayal of Thor isn't Shakespearean, nor cumbersome like in the first two stand alone films.. The DVD has nice extras and good artwork.

You're either going to love the director's style or hate it... I loved it!

Yes, it's quirky. Yes, it's neon colored. Yes, the soundtrack sounds like a Daft Punk or Tron concert. Lucky for me, I love all of those! I've never been so entertained by just Thor or Hulk on their own as I was during this movie. The dialogue was great, gave them great character. Fun Thor movie!

Thor gets a haircut

This installment in the Thor series takes you on a different journey. Number one the movie tries to be funnier. Not sure if it succeeds. Thor is thrown into a different world, meets a female Valkyrie, and finds out he has a sister. The Valkyrie is reluctant to help, but eventually does and is really cool. Thor's sister breaks his hammer and injures him. The hulk is a giant Gladiator and talks a lot more. Overall, this movie is very good. Although, I don't think I would say the best in the series. The scenes look phenomenal in blu ray. If you like Thor, add it to your collection. Beware, however, it does take you away from the look and feel of the character you are used to. Thor is an Enigma

This Taika Waititi Directed film is a blast in the theater and at home. Experiencing this on blu ray brought just as big of a smile. The character of Thor has became highly enigmatic. Going from a Shakespearean Blondie to a comedy buff the "Thor" character has suffered from the change in tone. However, The "Thor" narrative is still in tact and benefits from the wacky engaging direction the Producers/Director has decided to take the franchise. Chris Hemsworth definitely had more fun in the role and has a more enticing personality that brings you into the movie with his comedy and timing. Entertaining mashup of Norse gods and cartoon super heroes

As a mashup of Norse gods and cartoon super heroes, this movie is definitely entertaining. Some parts of it were rather over the top, but then that was probably intentional. As the villainous Hella, Cate Blanchett does a great job, and Mark Ruffalo's emotionally challenged Hulk is certainly unexpected. Personally, I didn't find the movie as humorous as rumored--it was more sarcastic or snide than humorous. I'm not sure how appropriate the wall to wall violence is for small children--but that's not a decision I have to make. All of the actors executed their roles well and are probably the reason the movie holds up as well as it does. Great fun!

This is one of the most entertaining films in the Avenger's saga - and definitely the most fun of the 3 Thor films. Chris Hemsworth is allowed to show his true sense of humor and has fun making fun of himself. Unexpected comedy and yet still an incredible action flick!

I was expecting another avenger movie which is okay but honestly this blew me away. It turned out to be a comedy that was an action flick. Every scene was both filled with comedy and action. Ragnarok is the best Thor yet!

Went to see this at the theater and loved it! But, after getting the Blu-ray and watching it at home for the second, third and forth time... I think this is the BEST Thor movie of the bunch!
