Love all of the work this band creates & produces. Have this CD as well as their latest released sophmore album titled " A BEAUTIFUL LIE". Great listening and wonderful to see live in concert!!!

A great band with a great sound

I decided to buy this because i'd heard their latest single 'the kill' and thought they were great so i thought i'd buy both their albums. This one is very different from the second as it's Leto playing most of the instruments with his brother on drums. The whole album is fantastic, both the lyrics and music create an otherworldly feel about the album, it creates a whole new universe for you to get lost in. Both Letos (Jared and Shannon) are very talented, with Jared doing the art work for the CD and Shannon doing the photography. It's rare that an actor of Jared's talent could pull this off, but he does it and he does it well. My personal favourites are Capricorn (A Brand New Name) and Oblivion, both sound really good acoustic too.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

A Good First, But Beaten

30 Seconds To Mars' first album was a very good attempt on their behalf, but i feel that it could have been much better. Their second album was very successful and their third album will hopefully be as good or better, but i would still recommend this album to 30 Second To Mars fans, as there are some good tracks on here and it's nice to see how the band has come along over the years.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
