Great Film, too Many Uses of a Particular Word

My wife and I had seen it before but didn't remember a whole lot about it. My only criticism, and I rarely object to the language in a film, is that there were way too many f-bombs dropped. You could omit 3/4ths of them, and it wouldn't change the tenor of the movie. Still, it's interesting, and the acting was good.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Rags to riches to prison to riches...

A terrific true story of a very resourceful and intelligent young man who lusted after money, drugs and sex - in that order. His rise to riches is fast and the way he gets there is amazing and is also illegal. He pays the federal government piper before making an interesting comeback. The best movie ever if you are a salesman

I saw this movie long ago, but it captivated my attention like few movies do. Dicaprio portrays Jordan Belfort in a very special way with a special light. I can watch this movie a hundred times and never get tired of it. Awesome Movie of an Unbelievable True Story

This movie graphically shows how low people will go to be successful. With its' open sex and drugs this might offend some prudent people, but if you're an understanding person who accepts that some people will go to any lengths to make money, then you'll find that this highly entertaining 3 hour movie goes by very quickly.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Good and at times brutal movie

Good movie ... but the movie is not for everybody INHO. Its contents are at times brutal and hard to watch for a sensitive person (for example, for my wife, who does not enjoy extreme profanity). The main character, played superbly by Leonardo DiCaprio, is deeply involved in corruption and fraudulent activities as a Wall Street stockbroker. While it is hard to imagine that the movie portrayed excesses in the Wall Street are common, it is conceivable that they are likely to happen from time to time and the story told by the movie appears to be in a realm of reality.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Great Movie Great Characters

This was an excellent movie and really depicts the corruption throughout Wall St. and the various ways that operators manipulate the investment vehicles to serve themselves and rip average consumers off. One of the best Martin Scorsese films in a while. It's non stop entertainment.
