Let their antics take you away from your problems and allow you to laugh. Yes, they may be described as slapstick, but that's what much of our comedy was back in those days. Whether you love them or hate them, we should always thank them for their contribution to the world of cinema. Because, their silliness, along with the other pioneers of comedy, inspired more comedians to take the stage and bring us hours of laughter. And, without laughter, what are we but a bunch of people sitting around scowling at one another.
