The Quiet Man (DVD, 1952)

Lovely movie, poor quality disc

I love this movie. My favorite John Wayne/Maureen O’Hara film. The extras are very good! Unfortunately, the movie isn’t as clear and crisp as I’d expected. Fortunately I have another copy that is a better quality so I’ll keep this for the special features which I do enjoy!

Color saturation is much too rich and unnantural

One of the best movies ever made. This DVD from Australia is a poor transfer. Colors are much too rich, and unnatural. This makes the movie very difficult to watch or enjoy. John Wayne and Maureen O'hara have been in a lot of movies together, and this is a great example of how good they are together.Lots of laughs, love the country and it's people.
