Excellent Movie

Have always enjoyed ‘The Quiet Man’. Fantastic movie that the entire family can enjoy together.

I appreciate the special energy which accompanies any John Wayne/Maureen O’Hara movie. The Quiet Man is probably their best ‘duet’ of all.

Better than most... Picture is clean & sharp, which is more than can be said for other copies I have seen that look more like cheap copies made from an old VHS tape.
The colors are slightly muted, not quite as saturated as I would like, but still true to life.

The Blu-Ray disc brought out all the beauty & vivid rich colors of the Irish countryside. It was drama; it was comedy; it was love; it was the culture of the Irish people. It was all that I remembered from years ago when I first viewed this classic movie. You will laugh hilariously and love the fabulous and famous fight scene so often characteristic of John Wayne movies. Buy it. The Quiet Man

The movie came in on time and the quality was as expected. If you're into classic movies and haven't seen it yet, it's definitely one to check out.

Awsome restoration

We have one of the original DVDs of the Quiet Man, fuzzy and the colors run together. The only thing we missed on this anniversary edition was the names of the actors at the end of the movie where they pose for the identification. But all in all it is a really wonderful clean up. There are some blips of new film that they restored. Thank you. We are very pleased Oh and also for the little book that went with the DVD 60th Anniversary edition.Vollständige Rezension lesen
