Fun But Overdone

This is a cute movie with a great cast. A little silly in spots and overdone in terms of the "clumsy acts" of the Princess, but entertaining, for sure. The fast pace is good -- makes up for some of the redundant encounters. I'm very glad I saw it because the sequel, Princess Diaries 2, is a far better production in my opinion, and it was even more enjoyable having known "what had happened before" in the original film. I recommend this movie to those looking for a lighthearted escape from reality, with picturesque scenery and a wonderful performance by Julie Andrews.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Accurate for storyline

I have had this movie before and moved. It was lost in the move and I had to have another one. When I learned they would no longer be selling DVD packs I jumped into eBay and got a new one. Glad I did it the morning after announcement was made......alot were gone.Vollständige Rezension lesen
