when people say the Holocoste was made up they should see this film. .Tho it doesn't show it the anti antisemitisim was very prevalent even before the Natzis invaded Poland.and this picture to a small dgre shows the true happenings at that time and after the invasion.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Exquisite Piano Playing In WW II Poland

This moving story about WW II includes exquisite Chopin music piano playing. Well worth repeated viewing, this DVD is meaningful and based on true events. Fully recommended.

An Historic Story

This movie is a very sad and tragic story but the actors are fantastic

I think this is a five star movie because it tells how the people were treated and I like the kind of movies that tell the truth.

An excellent and absorbing film!

It is a most wonderful film of the Holocaust era. The acting of Adrien Brody was so superb! The movie made you feel like you were there experiencing the hardships and horror. I would definitely recommend this film to experience it.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Great movie.

Sadly my movie was damaged but, this movie is guttural, raw, and heartbreaking. The story follows one man from beginning to end of WWII. The strength and courage shown is breathtaking.

Pianist DVD

Excellent movie. So sad what these people had to go through. A good reminder that we should never forget our history lest we repeat it.
