The Man Who Cried (DVD, 2000)

Two stars was generous!

The story is choppy and actually ends rather abruptly. Cate Blanchett was the only one showing any character or acting, while Depp and Ricci just stared at each other or into space trying to look soulful and failing.

Costuming and scenery were well done, the white horse is beautiful, but that's about the only positives I can give it. The good value is because I didn't pay very much for it.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Johnny Depp and cast are entertaining in this movie.

The movie has some good actors and a decent plot. If you like any of the actors that are in this movie, then you should enjoy it. It’s a little you need to get times but an overall film to watch.

Deeply affecting love story about marginalization, ethnicity, racism, and life and death decisions amidst genocide. Depp is at his best, the other performances well done.
