Yummy
I love this book... Christopher Pike is one of the first authors I truly learned to love. I usually hate male authors because they always seem to lose something in the details, or they over describe things and leave nothing to the imagination.... but Pike never seems to do that.
I was reading my way through his books when I was 8 and 9... This is by far my favorite of his. I would purchase this book over and over again and highly recommend this to teens and some kids depending on their reading levels.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
I'm excited to read the rest of the series
Not as much of what I enjoyed of the first book, the backstory on Alisa, She's lived for 5000 yrs, If I know where she's been I feel I sympathize and relate better to her present actions. Overall I wish these books were a little bigger. They move too fast and take little time to reflect on HUGE events. I'm interested to read the rest and see if they all flow the same way or if it is just the nature of the book within the series.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
Black Blood by Christopher Pike (1994)
This was a childhood favorite of mine and I've been looking everywhere for it as they no longer print it. I was so pleased to find it on here and at such a great price.
