Dennis Hopper & Asia Argento Study a Psychopathic Cop

Now an older, more heavy set, Dennis Hopper stars as a veteran Sheriff who's experienced enough 'sin' to drive anyone nuts. In this case, Asia Argento is a strip club dancer who's been abused to the degree that the police become involved.

Hopper is supposed to have dropped her off at a bus station so that she can get out of town, away from the danger she's in. Instead, the Sheriff decides to teach her about morality, hidden away in a jail cell in his home basement.

Argento's rebellious as Hopper insists that she earn points for following his rules. As the show progresses so does the exploration of the Sheriff's control freak derangement.

I wouldn't call "The Keeper" an exciting or surprising film. It's just that it held my attention because I wanted to find out who was going to prevail: him or her? What the show does do is put status & morality in question.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Suspenseful

Asia argento is just that kind of actress that has you wanting more. Dennis hopper has better roles but he has that bad guy good guy type of role like speed. I like it cause it has that kind of suspense rooting for the captive to get free of the bad guy.
