Misses the mark

I bought the dvd cause my friend is a big GH fan. It will make him upset to see how yet another hero can be badly produced ....a la Speed Racer, Sherlock Holmes, Dune. Pretty funny movie, worth watching once.

Green Hornet is good for one watch, maybe a second watch will still bring laughs a while down the road. The car in this movie was definitely cool. Reminded me of something that Tony Stark would own. Misses the mark

What a total waste of time. As with most Hollywood pictures lately, they ignore 70+ years of radio, television, comic, and movie serial history and come up with something that is not the Green Hornet.

It's to bad Kevin Smith's Green Hornet script was never completed (though it did eventually make it into comic book format). The only part I enjoyed was a nod back to the original Back Beauty, a 1937 Lincoln Zephyr, but even then they slapped a bright red coat of paint on it.

Though I really wanted to like it, I quit watching half way through. Sad thing is, I believe Seth could have played the part of Britt, but instead they went for the uninspired comedy routine.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Still enjoyed it!

Just watched the movie.. I have top say i was very disappointed in it. I never saw it in Theaters and I'm glad i saved my money.
When I saw that they kept the same Black Beauty I thought great they are keeping with the TV show... I was wrong, the story line of Britt was to over the top of being a spoiled brat! I feel if they toned it down it would have been a better movie... it came to late when he finally decided to take charge.
It does have some great action and Kato is great (B. Lee would have been proud).
I still liked the movie but if they make a second I really hope they tone done the spoiled part.

Don't waste your time on this action dud!

This movie is a total waste of time and money. Just a hodge podge of action scenes and weak unfunny Bravado! The car is the most interesting thing about the movie! Cameron Diaz is good to look at, but is wasted in her role as an assistant to the G-HORNET. Kato kicks assets, but it's the new HYPER STYLIZED fight sequences that just look absolutely fake. Comparing this film to the other SUPER HERO genre it doesn't grip you like any of the BATMAN movies. This movie may have been a little more thrilling in the Imax 3D version. A couple of good songs are on the soundtrack of this dvd. No real suspense or over the top thrills in this one. 2/5 starsVollständige Rezension lesen...

Could have done without cussing though!

Good versus Evil is a force to be recognized. Always engaging and entertaining.

Good bargain

I am a Green Hornet fan. This was a good movie, but not as good as the original series. Still liked the movie, though.

A "GOOD" movie, worth watching !

This movie was "different" for Seth only because the humor was not what I expected. I love his movies and this one is no exception. It was slow in parts. It had a lot of cool vehicles and special effects! The guy who played "Kato" did an excellent job! Satisfying funny

Great entertainment very funny at the best times and totally satisfying movie with enough suspense to keep me watching
