One of my favorites!

An emperor without any real life experience and lacking all empathy for others, who is self absorbed and without any understanding and wisdom, is thinking about his birthday present to himself. It involves displacing a village and a family. He is not kind to anyone, so big surprise that two people in his castle want to get rid of him. There are lessons to be learned and it is so funny. What's NOT to like?!

My husband & I had a video of this movie...which wore out because he watched it so often! When it was time to buy him a birthday present, I decided it was time to see if I could get him a DVD copy! That way it wouldn't wear out so quickly and he could watch as often as he liked. His birthday is in 3 wks and I can hardly wait to see his face! I hope everything is OK with the disc, 'cause I couldn't bear the disappointment. I've bought on EBAY before and was only unhappy once, so I'm confident.
