Great little item easy to use dampens but does not choke the drum & you can leave it in place when packing up if you want. Great substitute. for Moon Gel

It works as promised, removing excessive overtones without checking your snare drum. I use it on the batter head. On the snare side it does not make much difference. Please be aware this product is not intended to reduce the snare Buzz even though it may help a little bit. Terribly made, good concept

Tried it out on my snare, sound did not change. The clip when put on my snare was at a slight angle when on the head. This made the clip not have full contact with the drum head. The clip also does not apply enough pressure to do anything at all. Adding the felt piece provided only made the angle worse.

This product has just the right amount of muffling for my needs. Seems durable and easy to put on and take off.

Did not fit

I'm bought this for my steel student snare so I can mellow the tin sound/ring and I don't like using gel to much because of stick dust getting cought on the gel. I thought this would be a nice replacement but no, it's doesn't sit properly because it barley fits.
