Highly recommended.

I picked this book up in an exchange facility in a hotel in Melbourne, and I’m extremely glad I did. I echo most of the reviews above; it’s compelling reading and a great plot. However, the thing that separates this book (and the others in the trilogy) from run-of-the-mill thrillers, is May’s ability to evoke the essence and history of the places he’s writing about. Read these, and you’ll be desperate to visit the islands the books are set on.
